I keep all book-related fun in this arena. The URL is /bookbug because I was terribly inspired to get back into reading after discovering the bookbug neocities book club. And I kept coming back to neocities excited to make a page dedicated to not only the books read for the book club, but more. I have it all in one place for my own sanity but it deserves the bookbug URL since it was the inspiration to document my literary journey.

I'm sure most of the books logged will be bookbug picks since I know I'll have a difficult time finding time to read again ever since the dreaded smart phone has entered my life. I used to read constantly, always a book in my bag. I loved reading as a kid since my insomnia was pretty intense. The only thing that cured that was pure exhaustion from having kids haha! Another reason it's been challenging to read again. But! My kids also inspire my journey since I want to model reading as a passionate hobby of mine and hopefully pass it down to them, especially as my 6 year old is conquering reading this year (and doing so well, I might add!)

Most of the links are works in progress right now as I get going. But I'll keep a log of books read, a separate section for bookbug book club picks, an inventory of all the books I own in my library, a list of favorite books/authors/more, and also plan to have a section dedicated to children's literature and illustration that I love and collect. All coming soon!
